Daniel Grúň

(Slovakia), born 1977, comes from Piešťany and lives in Bratislava. He studied art history at Trnava University and currently lectures at the Academy of Fine
Arts and Design in Bratislava. He writes essays and reviews on contemporary art for various magazines and participates in international research projects
aimed at examining the art and visual culture of Eastern Europe during communism. In 2009 his debut poetry book titled Manuál was published, as well as
his dissertation titled Archeology of Art Criticism.
