Ivica Prtenjača
/Croatia
(Croatia), born in Rijeka in 1969. He is
currently studying Croatian language
and literature at the Faculty of
Philosophy, University of Rijeka. He has
published poetry in various Croatian
magazines and newspapers since 1988.
In 1998 he won the prize for literature at
the 25th Salon of Young Artists in
Zagreb. In 1999 he took part in the
Croatian literary selection at the
Biennial of the Young Artists of Europe
and Mediterranean in Rome, Italy. His
collection of poems Pisanje oslobađa
(Writing Liberates) is about to be published.
