Linn Hansén

(Sweden), born in 1983. She lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her first book Ta I trä (Touch Wood) was published in 2008. It was nominated for Katapultpriset – The Swedish Writers Unions prize for the best Swedish debut of the year, while the author was awarded the prize for the Best author of western Sweden of 2008. She has also been published by a number of Swedish and Scandinavian magazines, and had a lot of readings around Scandinavia in the past few years. In addition to her own writing, she cooperates at the Poetry Festival of Gothenburg, the Queer literature festival, and as editor at the cultural magazine Glänta. She also writes in the writers collectives Sharks and G=T=B=R=G. Last year, she was also been involved in art projects, such as the dance show I can’t believe it’s not sugar – how to create a modern dance group set up at the Gothenburg Dance and Theatre festival.
