Nikolay Kononov

(Russia), born in 1958. He is a
philosopher, prose writer, one of the
founders and editor-in-chief of the INAPess
publishing house. He began his literary
career as a poet and has published many
books of poetry. His novel Pohorony
kuznechika was short-listed for the Russian
Booker Award in 2000. In the same year his
poetry was short-listed for the Andrej Beli
Award.
