Paulo Teixeira
/Portugal, 1962Paulo Teixeira, born in 1962 in Mozambique, in 1974 his family moved to Portugal. Studied at the New University of Lisbon and has been a high school teacher since 1984. He is the director of the Luís Miguel Nava Foundation for Poetry, created in 1996, and the magazine Relâmpago. Received the 1983 Revelation Prize for Poetry given by the Portuguese Association of Writers and his 1991 volume, Inventário e Despedida was awarded three different prizes. Has participated in several international festivals of poetry.
