Peter Semolič

has published nine volumes of poetry. He is a poet who, facing the miracle of life and the mysteries within and outside of himself, has remained a child in the best sense of the word: curious, sensitive and full of wonder. His poetry has been met with a warm reception from both readers and reviewers; and he is a recipient of both the Vilenica Kristal Award and the Jenko Prize, as well as Prešeren Award in 2001.
