(India) moved to the USA from India in
1993. Since then she has followed her
primary passion – Poetry. Her first book
of poems is titled ...Kali Dances, So Do
I... (2000). She has been published in
various US and India based journals.
Her most significant contribution to the
Arts is The Poetry Caravan. The Caravan
provides free Poetry related activities,
such as workshops and readings, to
people who may be at a disadvantage
to access opportunities. Her third collection
of work is a CD of Sufi poems,
on which she is accompanied by Steve
Gorn, the internationally acclaimed
flautist.
