Noémi László (1973, Hungary), born in Romania, is a Transylvanian Hungarian poet. She is also a translator of  poetry and prose from English and Romanian into Hungarian. She published over ten volumes of poetry and various translations. Her latest volumes are Föld (Earth, 2013) and Bodzabél (Elder Pith, 2017). Her next book of poetry is due to come out this year. She was awarded the József Attila prize in 2010. She has a PhD in modern English literature from ELTE Budapest (2011) and works as a literary editor at the Hungarian review of literature Helikon, based in Cluj, Romania. In 2012–2015, she was president of the Transylvanian Hungarian Writer’s League. László lives in Romania.
