On Saturday, 29th of August, the 24th Days of Poetry and Wine, with a rich poetry and wine program, which brought famous international names of contemporary poetry to Ptuj, closed with the Grand Poetry Reading and concert of Duo Atanasovski. With more than 60 events, 33 poets from 16 countries and more than a hundred participating artists, we managed another excellently attended festival and were able to prove that despite the challenges posed by the current situation, art can still be presented live.
Poetry readings, debates, a varied children's program, wine and culinary events, Days before evenings in other places in Slovenia and Austria, exhibitions and concerts made Ptuj the capital of poetry again.
But it would not be possible without all the participants, organizers, sponsors and loyal audience.
