Basri Çapriqi

(Kosovo), born in 1960. He has a PhD. in Literature from the University of Pristina. He is professor of Style and Semiotics at the Academy of Arts in Pristina. He has also been the presidentof PEN Kosovo since 2004. He writes poetry, literary criticism and essays on aesthetics. He has published five poetry collections (the most important are Isplazis mi jezik and Bizarna voca) and five books of criticism, essays and literary studies (Simbol i njegovi rivali, Kadareova paradigma).
