Gojko Božović

Gojko Božović (1972, Serbia) is a poet, essayist, literary critic, editor, and publisher. His poetry collections include Podzemni bioskop (Underground Cinema), Duša zveri (Soul of the Beast), Pesme o stvarima (Poems of Things), Arhipelag (Archipelago), Elementi (Elements), Obližnja božanstva (Nearby Deities), Mapa (Map), Tiha zverka podneva (Silent Beast at Noon), and Dok tonemo u mrak (As We Sink into Darkness). His essay books include Poezija u vremenu (Poetry in Time), Mesta koja volimo (Places We Love), Književnost i dani (Literature and Days), Kraljevstva bez granica (Kingdom without Borders), among others. His poems have been translated into many languages and published in various countries. He has received numerous national and international literary awards. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Arhipelag Publishing and the Belgrade Festival of European Literature, where he lives and works.
