Gregor Podlogar
/Slovenia, 1974Gregor Podlogar (1974, Slovenia) graduated in philosophy from the University of Ljubljana. He was the Slovene editor of the poetry webpage lyrikline.org for several years. His poetry collections include Naselitve (»States«, 1997), Vrtoglavica zanosa (»Joy of Vertigo«, 2002), Oda na manhattanski aveniji (»Ode on Manhattan Avenue«, co-autorship with Primož Čučnik and Žiga Kariž, 2003), Milijon sekund bliže (»A Million Seconds Closer«, 2006, Vesela nova ušesa (»Happy New Ears«, 2010), Svet in svet (»World & World«, 2016), which was nominated for the Veronika Award, included in the Pranger Festival, and translated into Croatian, and Atlas (»Atlas«, 2022), which was nominated for the Veronika and Jenko awards. His poetry is translated into numerous languages and is part of different foreign anthologies, such as Six Slovenian Poets (2006), Grand Tour: Reisen durch die junge Lyrik Europas (2019) and Mein Nachbar auf der Wolke (2023). He currently works as a broadcast editor at the Radio Slovenia Ars programme.
