Ilja Kaminsky

Ilya Kaminsky (1977, Ukraine / United States of America) was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and currently lives in USA. His poetry was shortlisted for the National Book Award in USA and won The Los Angeles Times Book Award, and won Guggenheim Fellowship, among other honors. He has also been awarded the Prix Alain Bosquet from Gallimard in France and Premio Laudomia Bonanni in Italy and shortlisted for Neustadt International Literature Prize. BBC named him “one of the 12 artists that have changed the world.” His books have been translated into over thirty languages. Kaminsky is the member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
