Jan Wagner

(Germany), born in 1971. He is a poet, a translator of Anglo-American poetry and a literary critic. He co-published the international literature box Die Aussenseite des Elementes until 2003. Apart from numerous appearances in anthologies and magazines, he published three poetry collections: Probebohring im Himmel (2001), Guerickes Sperling (2004), Achtzen Pasteten (2007). He has translated and edited a collection of selected poems by James Tate and, together with poet B. Kuhligk, edited a comprehensive anthology of young German poetry Lyrik von jetzt. 74 Stimmen. For his poetry he received various scholarships and literary awards.
