Josep Pedrals

Josep Pedrals (1979, Spain) has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and America since 1997. He works in poetry education for children and adults, and gives lectures and teaches courses in schools, colleges, and universities. Pedrals has developed poetry spaces on radio and television and has collaborated in art and culture sections of various publications. For a longer period, he published a sonnet every day in a newspaper. Pedrals has also written several plays and worked as a musician. He has been awarded with the “Lletra d’or” Award (2013), the Time Out Barcelona – Best Artist of the Year Award (2014), the Homo Fabra Award (2018) and the City of Barcelona Award for Literature (2018). Presently, he is Co-Director of the international poetry festival Barcelona Poesia.
