Julius Keleras

(Lithuania), born in 1961 in Vilnius. He
is poet, photographer, translator and
journalist. In 1989 Keleras emigrated
with his family to the United States,
where he lectured on Lithuanian literature
at Illinois State University, and was
engaged for seven years as the editor of
a Lithuanian language weekly in New
York. Julius Keleras is the author of four
books of poetry (Ţiemos valtys, 1988,
Baltas Kalëdaitis, 1990, Sauja medaus,
1995 and XL Poems, 1998). His poems
has been transletd into several foreign languages. Currently he lives in Vilnius
and works at the Lithuanian Radio.
