Kateřina Rudčenková

(Czech Republic) Born in 1976 in
Prague. She studied at Jaroslav Ježek´s
Conservatoire in Prague and at Czech
University of Agriculture, Faculty of
Economics and Management. She lives
in Prague. Since 1998 she has published
poetry in various magazines. She published
three books of poems: Ludwig;
Není nutné, abyste mě navštěvoval and
a bilingual book of poems ...není nutné,
abyste mě navštěvoval /...nicht nötig,
mich zu besuchen. In 2003 she got the
Hubert-Burda-Preis for young Eastern
European poets.
