Katharina Schultens

Katharina Schultens (1980, Germany) is a poet and manager who has been publishing poetry collections and essays since 2004. She worked in science management for more than 15 years and has been the director of the Berlin Haus für Poesie (House for Poetry) since 2022, which, among other projects, organizes the Poesiefestival Berlin and hosts the platform Lyrikline.org. Since 2011, Katharina's artistic practice has focused on the interrelations of monetary systems, platform economics, demons, personal loss and death. In 2025, new poems will appear as part of the publication Das Unbekannte. Unerwartete Begegnungen, edited by Cécile Wajsbrot and Nathalie Mälzer at Wallstein-Verlag. She is a member of the Berlin Academy of the Arts.
