Kristiina Ehin

(Estonia) In 1997 ten of her poems were
published in young authors collection
of poetry called Üheksavägine. She
belonged to the group of young authors
called Erakkond, that means 'an union
of hermits'. In 2000 her collection of
poetry Kevad Astrahanis (Spring in
Astrahan) was published. Her translations
from English (she has translated a
short story by F. Forsythe and a novel by
P. Fitzgerald) and from Slovene language (M.Pikalo, B. Senegačnik,
V.Taufer, E. Kocbek) were published in
Estonian literary magazines. Her poems
have been translated into Finnish, Komi,
English and Slovenian.
