Kristin Berget

Kristin Berget (1975, Norway) published her first collection of poetry loosing louise and her second Der ganze Weg in 2009. In 2013 she published Hennes ansikt (Her face) and also a book together with the Swedish author Mara Lee Min natur (My nature). In 2015 she published her first novel Sonja Sacre Coeur. Her books are translated into Swedish, Danish and Polish. She has studied Literary Composition at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Since 2010 she has been the editor of Signaler, an anthology for new writers. In 2012 she was the nordic candidate for "European Poet of Freedom Award" in Poland, the same year she was granted with the Tanums Kvinnestipend. She is also the winner of the highly acclaimed Stig Sæterbakkens minnepris. She has recieved a three year working grant from the Norwegian Arts Council. Since 2012 she has been the artistic director of Harpefoss poetry festival.
