Kristina Hočevar

Kristina Hočevar (1977, Slovenia) is the author of seven poetry collections, including V pliš (In Plush), Repki (Tails), for which she received the Zlata ptica award, and Na zobeh aluminij, na ustnicah kreda (Aluminum on Teeth, Chalk on Lips), which was fully translated into German and received the Jenkova nagrada. After a residency in China in 2017, she published the trilingual book Rujenje/Half of a C (2021), which also accompanied her first solo visual arts exhibition. Her poems have been translated into more than 15 languages and published in various anthologies. She performs at domestic and international festivals and collaborates with musicians and visual artists. Her collections Naval and Na zobeh aluminij, na ustnicah kreda are available as audiobooks, and as part of the 3 Way Art Book, Gorazd Krnc’s graphics were created alongside her verses.
