Les Murray

Les Murray (1938, New South Wales, Australia) is a poet, literary critic and editor of anthologies. After studying at university, editing literary magazines, and having consolidated his literary career with a number of awards and scholarships, he devoted himself only to writing. He is considered the most important poet of his generation in Australia. The National Trust of Australia has named him one of the 100 most important living Australians.
