Matteo Lefevre

(Italy), born in 1974 in Rome, where he
lives and works as a Secondary School
teacher and translator from Spanish and
English. He recently earned a Ph. D. in
Italian and Comparative Literature.
Some of his poems have been awarded
(Wine Poetry Rabelais Award, 2002 and
2003) and published in literary reviews.
His first collection of poems, Salamina
e Seattle (2004), has recently received
an important italian award: Premio
Alfonso Gatto – opera prima.
