Olja Savičević Ivančević (1974, Croatia) is a writer, poet, and one of the most important contemporary Croatian authors, representing the so-called »lost generation«. Her politically and socially engaged work is featured in numerous Croatian anthologies and international collections. Her novels, poetry collections, and theatre plays have received many awards and recognitions, and her books have been translated and published in fourteen languages. Her works include the novels Adio kauboju (Adios Cowboy), Pjevač u noći (Singer in the Night), and Ljeta s Marijom (Summers with Maria), as well as poetry collections such as Mamasafari, Kućna pravila (House Rules), and Divlje i tvoje (Wild and Yours).
