Zdenko Kodrič

Zdenko Kodrič (1949) is a long-time journalist and versatile literary artist. He is a Grum Prize winner (for the theatre play The Train Across the Lake), a three-time nominee for the Kresnik Prize and a Glazer Prize winner. He has written more than ten novels, several collections of poetry, several radio plays and scripts for feature documentaries, and has also published two collections of short stories and two books of theatre plays. Four of his plays have been staged in Slovenian theatres. He was a member of the groups Pupilije Ferkeverk and Pekarna, initiated the Slovenian Book Days in Maribor and co-founded the Ptuj Art Society Stara steklarska. The film director Boris Jurjaševič made a documentary about him entitled Interspaces (2010).
