Concert: Čompe

Čompe is a six-member ethno, jazz band from Ljubljana, formed in 1994. The name of the band was created as a momentary invention over the years of activity, and is a dialect term for potato, which is used in Trenta and the Ziljska valley.

It is a group of six actors or theatre professionals. They play a repertoire of songs of different genres. Their original music is set to texts by Dane Zajc, Milan Jesih, Edvard Kocbek and Andrej Rozman Roza.
