Contemporary Dance: The Krokar Dance Society

The Krokar Dance Society was founded in 1999 with the aim of promoting and reviving the contemporary dance art in the area of Bela krajina. It is the first association for contemporary dance in this area, therefore, especially important for the promotion of various dance genres. In recent years, they have been mainly involved in teaching young dancers, while older members are still creating performances that are inspired by current issues (radioACTIVATION, Relationships, Chaos 7, Urban Movement).
