Guided Tour of the Library's Study Department

A walk through the magnificent building, learning about many interesting things from the history of the building, the development of librarianship in Ptuj and recent bibliophilic editions of Slovenian publishers.

Mali grad is a mansion with centuries of history and one of the most important buildings in the Ptuj city center. Visitors will walk around the magnificent building, hear many interesting facts about the history of the building and its architectural features (since 2008, the library  is also on the list of the most beautiful libraries in Europe), they will be introduced to the history of librarianship in Ptuj, and will also be able to see some selected recent bibliophilic editions by Slovenian publishers.
