This father and son duo have been connected through music all their lives. They performed together at the Cankar centre, the Slovenian National Theatres in Ljubljana and Maribor, the Union Hall in Maribor etc., especially when Ariel Vei decided to join his father’s shows as a guest musician. This time, however, we have a proper duo on our hands with original music written by the young composer Ariel Vei Atanasovski while in lockdown.

The 18-year-old high school and cello student at the Conservatory of Music in Maribor and in Klagenfurt, Austria has already achieved successes on international classical music competitions with the cello, and he also finds the time to play guitar and compose his own music.

His father, Vasko Atanasovski, is an internationally acclaimed musician and composer who has released around 15 original albums and performed with musicians such as Living Color (USA), Hindi Zahra (FRA), Marc Ribot (USA), Vlatko Stefanovski (MKD), Michel Godard (FRA), Simone Zanchini (ITA), Bojan Z (FRA) and several others worldwide.

Pre-registration for the event is not required. Due to the measures taken to contain the new Coronavirus disease, a limited number of visitors can be admitted to this event. You are expected to act responsibly and comply with the instructions from the National Institute of Public Health and thus help to ensure safety at the festival. The venue opens at 7:30 p.m.
