Katica Kulavkova (Macedonia) was working as a university professor of theory of literature. She is a regular member of Macedonian Academy of Sciences & Art, member of European Academy of Sciences & Arts and Vice President of PEN International. Her first book Annunciation appeared in 1975. Since then she has published 20 books of poetry, as well as more than 30 books on literary theory and criticism, as both author and editor. She has received the most important Macedonian and other literary awards. Her poetry and short fictions are translated into many languages. Lives in Skopje, Macedonia.
