86. Wicked Tasting!: Katarina Marinčič and Mateja Golc

We invite you to a literary and wine evening of the 86th Wikend Wine Tasting! on Wednesday, 29th of March at 7 pm at Dom KULTure muziKafe Ptuj. Together with an established writer Katarina Marinčič we will talk about her short novel titled The Woman with the Silver Eye while drinking the extraordinary wine of Kmetija Pintarjevi with the versatile young woman from Haloze, Mateja Golc. Poet Kristina Kočan and wine writer Jože Rozman will host the 85th Wicked Tasting.

Poetry and Wine Days prove once again that poetry is not just the domain of a few poetry lovers

On Saturday, 27 August, the 26th Days of Poetry and Wine festival, which hosted renowned Slovene and international poets in Ptuj and many other locations around Slovenia and Austria, ended with a Grand poetry reading and a concert by music group Moveknowledgement.

26th Days of Poetry and Wine Festival

This year's twenty-sixth festival will feature 20 poets from 10 countries between 22 and 27 August. The main festival programme will take place in Ptuj, which turns into the capital of poetry during the festival. Festival events will also take place in Ljubljana, Maribor, Murska Sobota, Krško, Vitomarci, Juršinci, Ljutomer, Križevci pri Ljutomeru, Ormož, Ivanjkovci, Belo, Selce, Petanjci, Janški vrh and Laafeld in Austria.

79. Wicked Tasting!: Tone Vogrinec and Janez Valdhuber

We invite you to a literary and wine evening on Wednesday, 18 May 2022, at 7 pm, at the MuziKafe - Home of Culture in Ptuj. The legend of Slovenian skiing, Tone Vogrinec, who recently got his a biography Everybody calls me Tona on the occasion of his 80th birthday,  and the winemaker Janez Valdhuber from Valdhuber's estate in Svečina (Vina Falot) will be with us. The evening will be moderated by the poet David Bedrač and the wine writer Jože Rozman.

Wicked Tasting! will present the legendary poet Milan Jesih and the winemaker Sebastjan Božič from the Herberstein winery in Juršinci. The evening will be hosted by poet Kristina Kočan and wine writer Jože Rozman.
