Visit the 27th Days of Poetry and Wine Festival
The 27th edition of Days of Poetry and Wine Festival will be held between the 21st and 26th of August 2023 in Ptuj as well as other places around Slovenia and its neighbouring countries. The festival will once again host many local and foreign poets and selected winemakers. In addition to the main festival highlights, poetry, and wine, visitors will be invited to attend a rich accompanying programme.

Join us for an evening of artistic exploration as we present the 88th Huda Pokušnja! on Wednesday, May 31st, at 7 PM in Ptuj's charming Dom KULTure muziKafe. Esteemed actress Milena Zupančič, renowned for her contributions to Slovenian film and theater, will share captivating stories from her celebrated biography, written by Tadej Golob. Embark on a journey into her extraordinary life and experiences.

87th Huda pokušnja! with Nina Petek and Petra Rutar
We warmly invite you to the 87th Huda pokušnja! in Ptuj, happening just before the holidays. The literary and wine evening will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 7 p.m. in Dom KULTure muziKafe in Ptuj. It will be dedicated to our guest Nina Petek and her study On the Threshold of Awakening: Dream Worlds in Buddhism. The hosts of the evening will be poet Kristina Kočan and wine publicist Jože Rozman.

We invite you to a literary and wine evening of the 86th Wikend Wine Tasting! on Wednesday, 29th of March at 7 pm at Dom KULTure muziKafe Ptuj. Together with an established writer Katarina Marinčič we will talk about her short novel titled The Woman with the Silver Eye while drinking the extraordinary wine of Kmetija Pintarjevi with the versatile young woman from Haloze, Mateja Golc. Poet Kristina Kočan and wine writer Jože Rozman will host the 85th Wicked Tasting.

Poetry and Wine Days prove once again that poetry is not just the domain of a few poetry lovers
On Saturday, 27 August, the 26th Days of Poetry and Wine festival, which hosted renowned Slovene and international poets in Ptuj and many other locations around Slovenia and Austria, ended with a Grand poetry reading and a concert by music group Moveknowledgement.

26th Days of Poetry and Wine Festival
This year's twenty-sixth festival will feature 20 poets from 10 countries between 22 and 27 August. The main festival programme will take place in Ptuj, which turns into the capital of poetry during the festival. Festival events will also take place in Ljubljana, Maribor, Murska Sobota, Krško, Vitomarci, Juršinci, Ljutomer, Križevci pri Ljutomeru, Ormož, Ivanjkovci, Belo, Selce, Petanjci, Janški vrh and Laafeld in Austria.
