99. Wicked tasting! with Muanis Sinanović and Matjaž Lemut (Tilia)
After a break in September, we are back for one last time before celebrating our big anniversary. We invite you to a literary and wine evening on Wednesday, 23 October, at 7 pm, at Home of Culture muziKafe in Ptuj. At the 99. Wicked tasting! we will host poet, writer and critic, this year's festival guest Muanis Sinanović, and winemaker Matjaž Lemut from Tilia Estate - House of Pinot. The evening will be hosted by poet Kristina Kočan and wine publicist Jože Rozman.

Environmentally friendly initiatives of the Days of Poetry and Wine festival
For years, the Days of Poetry and Wine Festival has been striving for more environmentally friendly initiatives. You've heard or read about many of the eco-challenges in Open Letters to Europe, admired the innovative art installations made from recycled materials, and some of you have even visited the festival by public transport to reduce your carbon footprint.

On Saturday, August 24, the performances of the last Great Poetry Reading and the concert of the popular music group Kokosy ensured the festive end of this year's Days of Poetry and Wine festival.

Ceremonial opening of the Days of Poetry and Wine festival with the reading of the Open Letter to Europe
The Days of Poetry and Wine will officially come to life today with the reading of the Open Letter to Europe, written this year by the Polish poet, writer and translator Jacek Dehnel, who will read it at 8 p.m. on Vrazov Square in Ptuj. The first big poetry reading and a concert by Emkej in Muzičari will follow.

The 28th Days of Poetry and Wine festival is approaching
One of the largest and most recognizable international poetry festivals, the 28th Days of Poetry and Wine festival, will take place Between 19 and 24 August 2024 in Ptuj and other Slovenian cities as well as across the border. This year, the festival will combine the excellence of poetry and wine and a rich accompanying program. You are welcome!

96. Wicked Tasting!
Towards the end of May, the 𝟵𝟲. Wicked Tasting!, the last one before the Days of Poetry and Wine festival, will happen. On Wednesday, May 29, at 7 p.m., writer Tone Partljič and winemaker Egon Krampač will join us at Muzikafe. The event will be moderated by poet David Bedrač and wine publicist Jože Rozman.

94. Wicked Tasting! with Jan Krmelj and Maja Pečarič
Spring is here and so is 94. Wicked Tasting! On Wednesday, 27 March, at 7 p.m., we will be joined by poet Jan Krmelj, who will present his second poetry collection Uho, and Maja Pečarič, Slovenian Wine Queen 2023. The literary and wine event will be hosted by journalist and poet Petra Bauman and wine publicist Jože Rozman.

The Days of Poetry and Wine festival came to an end
We have concluded this years festival, which once again turned Ptuj into the capital of poetry and wine, and also served several other locations across Slovenia and even abroad with a wide range of diverse events. We were able to listen to this year's last Great Poetry Reading and sway to the sounds of Čompe and Elektro stih.

Yesterday we livened up the city of Ptuj with yet another Grand Poetry Reading and a performance by a young band Regen. The program concluded with a selection of short films from the SHOTS festival.
