About Vino-art:

Since 2004, the International Art Colony VINO-ART has been held in Dobrovniške Gorice. This year, Vesna and Jože Seršen, as part of the Association for the Culture of Wine Drinking, invited contemporary Slovenian and foreign artists to the idyllic environment of the wine-producing, slightly hilly world at the foot of the Pannonian plain, in order to create their works of art. TWith the professional support of individual collaborators and the Municipality of Dobrovnik, a number of well-known and established contemporary visual artists have emerged so far, whose works enrich the treasury of cultural heritage, which is important for the wider cultural space.

About the Translation Workshop

This year's festival focuses on South Korea. Korean poets Kim Yideum, Choi Young-Mi, Kim Kyung Ju will take part in a Korean-Slovenian translation workshop in the first days of the festival, in the company of their Slovenian colleagues Natalija Milovanović, Tone Škrjanec and Gregor Podlogar, and translator Kang Taehee. They will translate each other's poetry and present their work to the public at events in Petanjci, Ljutomer and Ormoz. You will also be able to catch the foreign guests on the main festival stage during the evening readings and other festival events.
